Job Description

A growing architectural company is an expanding national architecture firm that provides its employees with valuable hands-on experience, allowing them to actively engage in projects from inception to completion. They are seeking a talented and creative Architectural Designer to join their Coral Springs office. You will play a crucial role in project design and development, collaborating with clients, consultants, and engineers to create designs that meet their aesthetic and functional requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural principles, excellent design skills, and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into practical solutions.


  • Work closely with clients to develop design concepts, incorporating functional and aesthetic requirements into architectural plans.
  • Participate in project planning and develop architectural design strategies to ensure project objectives are met within time and budget constraints.
  • Create conceptual designs, sketches, and 3D models to communicate design ideas.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, construction documents, and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
  • Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures, considering sustainability, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Collaborate and other design professionals to integrate civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, interior design, and other systems into the architectural design.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to address design-related issues.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress, resolve design issues, and ensure adherence to the architectural plans.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients to understand their needs, address their concerns, and provide regular project updates.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Applicants should have 3-5 years of working experience showcasing a strong portfolio of architectural projects.
  • Highly proficient in using Revit.
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods.
  • Excellent design and visualization skills, with the ability to create 2D and 3D architectural representations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and communicate ideas to clients.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and quality.
  • A positive attitude is a must.
