A vibrant and growing school dedicated to providing a high-quality Torah and general education in a warm and nurturing environment is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Principal to support the educational and administrative leadership of their Boys Division. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Principal, faculty, students, and parents, fostering academic excellence, strong values, and a commitment to personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Educational Leadership: Assist in overseeing curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom instruction for both Judaic and General Studies. Ensure academic standards are met and provide support to teachers in implementing best practices.
- Student Development: Foster a culture of respect, responsibility, and engagement. Oversee student discipline, social-emotional growth, and character development.
- Staff Supervision & Support: Work collaboratively with teachers to enhance instructional quality through professional development, mentorship, and classroom observations.
- Parent Communication: Serve as a key liaison between parents and the school, addressing concerns, facilitating meetings, and fostering a strong home-school partnership.
- School Operations: Assist in managing daily operations, including scheduling, attendance, safety procedures, and extracurricular programs.
- Community Engagement: Promote school values and traditions, contributing to a warm and inclusive school culture.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in school leadership, administration, or teaching, preferably in a Jewish educational setting.
- Knowledge of Lubavitch Chinuch: Strong understanding of Chabad-Lubavitch customs, traditions, and teachings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
