Job Description

A Brooklyn based construction company are in search of a dedicated and seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead their construction projects from concept to completion. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of project management. Your deep knowledge of construction, meticulous, attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of our projects. Responsibilites:

  • Represent the owner’s interests effectively by coordinating project specifications with clients and jobsites, ensuring efficient project progress.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, including owners, clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Play an active role in Client/Design meetings throughout the project lifecycle, providing valuable insights into construction, assembly, and logistical considerations.
  • Develop comprehensive construction budgets for each project
  • Take charge of procurement for all project scopes, including conducting quantity take‐offs, bid leveling, value engineering assessments, and subcontract awards.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of project sequencing and collaborate with site managers to establish and manage project schedules.
  • Efficiently coordinate project specifications between stakeholders and the jobsite, maintaining a brisk project pace.
  • Conduct regular project coordination meetings, fostering effective communication and collaboration, both internally and with subcontractors.
  • Supervise project billing and invoicing for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2‐4 years construction experience on relevant projects.
  • Possess technical construction principles and organizational abilities, including familiarity
  • with construction methods, materials, blueprints, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrate a proactive problem‐solving attitude, addressing challenges with innovative
  • solutions.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence,
  • negotiate, and convey complex processes to both clients and staff.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment.
  • Determination to complete projects on time and within budget while maintaining high‐quality
  • standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools, including Excel, Word, and Project
  • Management software.
  • Basic knowledge of common construction computer application.
  • Preferred: Relevant degree or industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM)
