Job Description

An established Home Care organization is looking for a Coordinators Supervisor. The Coordinators Supervisor manages and supports the scheduling and care coordination team, ensuring that clients are matched with appropriate caregivers. This role includes monitoring staff performance, addressing client concerns, and optimizing the scheduling process.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Supervision:
    • Manage and support the scheduling and care coordination team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
    • Monitor daily operations of the scheduling team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
    • Train new coordinators and provide ongoing training to existing staff to ensure high performance standards.
  • Scheduling & Care Coordination:
    • Oversee the scheduling of caregivers to meet client needs, ensuring timely and appropriate matches.
    • Resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure proper coverage, including handling last-minute changes or emergency situations.
    • Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure the availability of qualified caregivers.
  • Client & Caregiver Relations:
    • Address and resolve any client concerns related to caregiver assignments or care quality.
    • Maintain strong communication with both clients and caregivers to ensure a positive experience for both parties.
    • Work closely with the intake department to understand new client needs and facilitate smooth onboarding.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Track and evaluate the performance of the coordination team, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans when necessary.
    • Analyze scheduling trends and suggest process improvements to optimize efficiency.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance, scheduling metrics, and client satisfaction.
  • Compliance & Standards:
    • Ensure compliance with LHCSA regulations and company policies related to caregiver assignments and care coordination.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation for client schedules, caregiver assignments, and any client-related issues.
    • Work with other departments to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a home care setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and familiarity with LHCSA regulations.
