Graphic Designer

Job Description

A leading confectionery company based in Borough Park is looking for a graphic designer for a part-time position.  The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with individuals from across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. 

Responsibilities:

• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity. This includes design for print and digital advertisements, brochures, graphics for print and digital use, marketing emails, signage and all other design needs.
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include several simultaneous projects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop,  InDesign and Illustrator
• Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects.
• Attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
• Experience with both print and digital media
