Job Description

 A well-established, mid-market electronics company is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Ecommerce. This strategic role will oversee the development and execution of innovative sales strategies to drive online revenue growth, enhance customer engagement, and maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ecommerce trends, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven record of leading high-performing sales teams. As the Head of Ecommerce, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of sales initiatives, optimize the customer journey, and leverage data-driven insights to drive company growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Management
    • Develop and oversee strategy for product development and new brand creation.
    • Manage existing product lines and select new products.
    • Oversee sourcing and product cost to ensure optimal pricing.
    • Forecast SKUs and ensure accurate product data management
    • Manage E-commerce Sales Managers and develop replicable strategies.
  • Content Design
    • Oversee the creation of compelling content for Amazon Listings
    • Manage content strategies to enhance SEO performance
    • Develop and streamline content creation processes
  • Strategy and Planning
    • Develop strategies for new brand creation and eCommerce opportunities
    • Establish structures for non-Amazon channels and research new ones
    • Create revenue growth strategies and stronger processes
    • Develop a company roadmap for current and future state.
    • Utilize advanced ecommerce tools and technology to evolve sales processes and enhance efficiency
  • Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Development
    • Develop and execute sales strategies and forecasts
    • Stay updated on ecommerce sales trends and growth opportunities
    • Develop and manage the ecommerce sales budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation
  • Channel Management / Sales Operations
    • Implement organized processes for automation to reduce costs
    • Oversee Ecommerce PPC management
    • Manage channel relationships, especially with Amazon
    • Support and resolve Amazon-related issues
  • DTC Marketing Management
    • Set marketing goals and budgets
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior ecommerce role, with a track record of driving significant revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, ecommerce platforms and customer analytics
  • Strong track record of establishing scalable, repeatable processes
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
