Job Description

A dynamic and rapidly growing Tech Rental company is seeking an experienced and driven Head of Sales to lead their current inbound sales team and drive revenue growth. Initially, the focus will be on managing and optimizing inbound sales efforts, with the expectation to gradually build and transition the team towards outbound sales strategies. This role is essential in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Head of Sales will work  closely with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align efforts and achieve goals.
  • Provide real-time daily oversight and team delegation for all incoming leads, sales inquiries, and business opportunities.
  • Monitor how pricing affects performance and adjust accordingly, including managing discounts, refunds and other pricing strategies.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and define sales strategies to capture new business.
  • Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Foster a positive and high-performance sales culture.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through excellent service and support.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the executive team.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head/Director of Sales or in a similar senior sales role.
  • Possess skills for both inbound and outbound sales.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
