The company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Account Assistant to join their growing team in Monsey, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and handle calls from clients, process customer service requests, and service accounts for the Producer as needed.
- Provide administrative support to Insurance Producers and Account Managers on a daily basis.
- Collect new account information and enter it into our Agency Management System.
- Follow up with clients and insurance companies on proposals and quotes, providing additional information as required.
- Manage numerous requests throughout the workday and follow directions closely with minimal supervision.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as typing, data entry, and other computer skills.
- Organize tasks and maintain effective communication both in person and over the phone
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Basic proficiency in typing and computer skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
