Job Description

An established home care agency is looking for an Integration Specialist who will oversee the integration of technology platforms and systems to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of the company’s services. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of integrated technology solutions to support homecare operations, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, telehealth platforms, scheduling software, and billing systems.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability between different systems and applications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated systems to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency through the integration of technology solutions.
  • Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of homecare services and improve the overall client experience.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on the use of integrated technology platforms and systems.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation to facilitate the adoption and utilization of integrated systems.
  • Serve as a resource for staff members, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  • Develop and maintain data management protocols and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of client and operational data.
  • Generate reports and analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor operational metrics, and evaluate the effectiveness of integrated systems.
  • Utilize data insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in homecare operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing the use of technology in healthcare, including HIPAA regulations and data security requirements.
  • Implement measures to safeguard sensitive information and protect the privacy and confidentiality of client data.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare technology integration, preferably in the homecare or healthcare industry.
  • Willing to travel to the various NJ locations on a weekly basis.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute integration projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in system integration methodologies, standards, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and data security standards, including HIPAA compliance.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
