A thriving and growing educational institution based in Toronto, Canada is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Principal to lead its elementary and preschool programs with roughly 250 students. Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and vision to all areas of the school, including the Judaic, General Studies, and Preschool departments.
- Oversee and support a staff of over 15 full-time educators, plus preschool and secular studies teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide mentorship, and foster professional growth among faculty.
- Collaborate on and reimagine curriculum development that reflects a deep understanding of Chabad chinuch and the needs of today’s students.
- Lead hiring and onboarding for new staff across all departments.
- Work closely with administration on school-wide initiatives, parent engagement, and community outreach.
- Uphold a culture of Yiras Shamayim, Chassidishe values, and warmth throughout the school.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Chinuch and educational leadership
- Deep familiarity with Chabad values and today’s educational landscape
- Proven ability to inspire, manage, and support a diverse team of educators
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Forward-thinking and creative when it comes to curriculum and program development
- Must demonstrate strong integrity, leadership, and vision
