Responsibilities:
- Product Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, marketing, and engineering) to conceptualize and develop new products from ideation to launch.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Develop product specifications, prototypes, and testing strategies to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee product development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor progress, address challenges, and report project updates to leadership.
- Sourcing:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure materials, components, and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and manage supply chain risks, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in product development, sourcing, and project management, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software preferred (e.g., Asana, Jira, MS Project).
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, cost analysis, and quality assurance.
