A premium kosher grocery store known for its high-quality, gourmet foods and exceptional customer service is seeking an experienced, hands-on Supermarket Manager to oversee daily store operations, manage staff, and uphold our commitment to quality, efficiency, and kosher standards. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the supermarket, including staff management, scheduling, and store upkeep
- Lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Implement store merchandising and promotional strategies to drive sales
- Analyze store performance metrics and make data-driven decisions
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely product delivery
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a supermarket or grocery retail management role
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- In-depth knowledge of produce handling and visual merchandising
- Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
