Job Description
A company specializing in the building supplies space is looking for a Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess a strong organizational ability and a proactive approach to problem-solving to support our team’s objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and accuracy in all operations.
- Manage inventory control, including tracking, receiving, storing, and distribution of goods.
- Optimize warehouse layout to improve efficiency and safety.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating with logistics to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Conduct routine warehouse inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and a safe working environment.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Prepare and maintain records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience with driving a forklift is a plus
- Familiarity with inventory management software and standard warehouse procedures.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
