A growing ecommerce electronics retailer based in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Warehouse & Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing warehouse operations for ecommerce businesses, particularly within the Amazon marketplace. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills to optimize warehouse efficiency and support overall business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- FBA & Marketplace Operations: Seamlessly manage all aspects of Amazon FBA and other ecommerce platforms (Walmart, eBay, Mercari, etc.), including creating FBA shipments, handling returns, and troubleshooting listing issues.
- Staff Supervision & Training: Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff, including temporary workers when necessary. Ensure the team is effectively delegated tasks and meeting operational goals.
- Inventory Management & Quality Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, ensure items are properly labeled and stored, and oversee quality control processes.
- Logistics & Carrier Coordination: Schedule carrier pickups (UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc.), ensure timely shipments, and coordinate with 3PL providers when needed.
- Process Improvement & Compliance: Implement and maintain organizational processes and efficiency measures to improve warehouse operations and reduce costs.
- Customer Service & Returns Handling: Manage customer service inquiries, handle returns efficiently, and process claims with Amazon, Walmart, FedEx, and other carriers.
- Financial & Pricing Management: Create purchase orders (POs), ensure accurate receiving, and set competitive pricing in the GoFlow order management system and repricer.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ecommerce warehouse management, preferably with Amazon FBA.
- Strong knowledge of GoFlow or similar order management systems.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while optimizing workflow.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
