Job Description
An established architecture studio based in Brooklyn is seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join their team full-time. This is an in-person role (Fridays remote) for an architect who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about thoughtful design, efficient execution, and multifamily housing in New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on all project phases, from schematic design to construction administration
- Assist with zoning and code analysis, particularly NYC Building Code and Zoning Resolution
- Develop design presentations, 3D models, and visualizations using Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Produce detailed construction documents and coordinate DOB filing sets
- Work with consultants, engineers, and project team members to ensure technical and regulatory compliance
- Participate in internal design reviews and contribute creative problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle
- Support senior staff in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and documentation requirements
- Conduct site visits and construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, specifically in multifamily new construction in NYC
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino
- Competence in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling, and rendering software
- Strong working knowledge of NYC Building Code and zoning regulations (preferred)
- Experience preparing construction documents and DOB filing sets
- Ability to contribute to early design phases, including schematic planning and concept development
- Self-directed and organized, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Willingness to work onsite four days per week and remote on Fridays
