Job Description

A growing, mission-driven healthcare provider is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join their compassionate team. This organization is dedicated to delivering comprehensive home care services that improve the quality of life for individuals in need. The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, caregivers, and visitors, playing a key role in ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing front desk operations, and supporting the administrative functions of the office to help maintain smooth and efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations, including updates and cancellations.
  • Maintain and organize front desk and lobby areas to ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and documentation.
  • Assist with patient intake forms and ensure accurate data entry into internal systems.
  • Coordinate with care coordinators, nursing staff, and billing personnel as needed.
  • Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all interactions and recordkeeping.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive information discreetly.
