This position is focused on accurate data entry, thorough online research, and handling medical information. The role involves updating and maintaining physician profiles using both digital and paper records. The ideal candidate is meticulous, tech-savvy, and capable of understanding and organizing medical data.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and maintain physician profiles in our internal database
- Perform in-depth online research to update and verify information
- Review, interpret, and organize medical information from paper files
- Handle confidential data with discretion and accuracy
- Work closely with a small in-office team
- Make occasional professional phone calls to verify or gather information
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with standard desktop software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Fast, accurate data entry and strong typing skills
- Internet savvy – skilled at finding and verifying information online
- Comfortable reading and interpreting medical information
- Good phone communication skills
- Experience or familiarity with medical specialties is a plus
- Ability to work in a quiet, focused office environment
