A property management company specializing in residential rental real estate is looking for a detail-oriented Procurement and Inventory Manager. The company manages a significant portfolio of residential units across multiple locations, focusing on both conventional and affordable communities. Their services encompass leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, construction oversight, and accounting. The Purchasing Manager will oversee the company’s procurement processes, ensuring accurate application verification, product tracking, and efficient coordination of materials and supplies. This role is critical in optimizing procurement strategies to meet operational needs and maintain cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify procurement applications to ensure accuracy and alignment with company needs.
- Track orders and monitor the delivery of materials and products to ensure timelines are met.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand project requirements and identify procurement priorities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to maintain cost-effective procurement practices.
- Maintain and update procurement records, including vendor information, purchase orders, and product inventories.
- Develop and implement tracking systems to streamline the procurement process and ensure product availability.
- Evaluate supplier performance and build strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality and reliability.
- Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, costs, and delivery timelines to management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
- Proficiency with procurement software and tools, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
