A growing, mission-driven day school is seeking an experienced and passionate Rebbi to join its Middle School division, teaching students in Grades 5 through 8. Responsibilities:
- Teach Limudei Kodesh subjects (e.g., Chumash, Halacha, Navi, etc.) to students in Grades 5–8
- Create and maintain a positive, structured, and inspiring classroom environment
- Build strong, caring relationships with students and their families
- Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons
- Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curriculum design and student progress
- Participate in school events, holiday programs, and professional development sessions
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably with upper elementary or middle school students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of Torah and Chassidic teachings
- Passion for teaching and nurturing students’ growth in learning and Yiddishkeit
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team
