Job Description

A successful and growing flooring company is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team! As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing KPIs and conduct performance reviews for the sale associates. You will also recruit, hire and train new sales representatives, prepare and present reports when needed, and develop sales programs for the sales team that maximize sales from the assigned accounts to the target accounts. The candidate should have great leadership skills and take pride in the success of the sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve sales and profit goals by leading, developing, and motivating sales associates
  • Providing ongoing training, motivation, and development of sales associates to ensure that sales and profits are effectively managed and maintained
  • Develop and implement KPIs and conduct performance reviews for the sale associates
  • Meeting or exceeding targeted sales quotas and productivity standards
  • Providing consistent and motivated leadership and direction to all staff and team members
  • Ensuring that sales staff is appropriately trained and competent to perform their job duties
  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans to drive sales and profit
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience of minimum of 5 years in sales and/or business management
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Great command of MS Office, CRM and BRM tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in working with and influencing other people
  • Must be willing and able to travel (fully reimbursed) to various States to meet with Sales Representatives as needed.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well with little supervision

Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 + commission
Enhanced Base Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 (no commission)
