Job Description
An established property management firm is looking for a skilled and driven Senior Property Manager to lead the operations of a couple large multifamily communities. This role calls for a strong leader who can oversee day-to-day activities, maintain high occupancy, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster positive relationships with residents and staff alike. Candidates with local community knowledge and a track record of effective property management will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of both properties, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Lead and supervise on-site staff, including leasing agents, maintenance technicians, and admin assistants.
- Manage leasing activities to maintain high occupancy levels.
- Handle rent collections, payment processing, and delinquency follow-up.
- Foster positive tenant relations and resolve disputes effectively.
- Ensure properties are maintained to quality and safety standards.
- Oversee capital expenditure (CapEx) management by coordinating contractors, purchasing materials, and supervising renovation or unit build-outs as new units come online.
- Work closely with contractors and vendors for repairs and improvements.

Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of proven property management experience, preferably with Class C multifamily properties.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and HUD regulations preferred.
- Local residency in or near St. Louis, Missouri.
