Job Description
A educational agency is seeking dedicated educational support staff eligible for SETSS-funded positions to join a structured educational and emotional support program at a boys’ school in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The program works with students from 4th grade and above, providing targeted academic guidance alongside social-emotional support. This initiative has been successfully implemented in Israeli schools and is now expanding to the United States. Team members will receive professional training, ongoing guidance, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful student development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and emotional support to students within a structured program framework
- Work closely with school staff to support student growth and progress
- Implement individualized support strategies based on student needs
- Maintain professional communication with administration and program coordinators
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development
- Foster a positive, supportive educational environment
Requirements:
- Eligibility for SETSS-funded positions required
- Masters in Special Education
- Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and reliability
- Interest in educational support, mentorship, and youth development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment
- Experience in education, chinuch, or youth programming preferred
