Job Description
A growing gift and gourmet food e-commerce company company is seeking an experienced Sales & Account Management Representative to manage key retail partnerships while also driving new business growth across corporate and wholesale channels. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys both servicing established accounts and hunting for new opportunities. The position will focus on expanding partnerships with major retailers, corporate gifting programs, and strategic buyers.
Responsibilities:
Account Management & Growth
- Manage and support existing national and corporate accounts (examples may include major retail and gifting partners)
- Maintain strong relationships with buyers and key decision-makers
- Identify opportunities to grow current accounts through upselling, new product placement, and strategic expansion
New Business Development
- Prospect and pursue new corporate and wholesale accounts
- Conduct outreach to corporate buyers and procurement teams
- Attend industry trade shows and networking events to develop new partnerships
- Own the sales cycle from lead generation through closing
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Collaborate with internal teams on product positioning, promotions, and account strategy
- Track pipeline activity, account performance, and revenue goals
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
- Industry experience is a major plus, especially within CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods)
- Experience working with retail accounts, corporate partnerships, or wholesale channels
- Strong ability to identify and connect with buyers and decision-makers
- Proven track record of closing new business and growing existing relationships
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment
