Job Description
An established and growing insurance firm is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Account Manager to support a senior Account Manager/Producer. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in insurance, with hands-on exposure to client management, renewals, and day-to-day account servicing.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Account Manager/Producer with daily client servicing needs
- Assist with policy renewals, including gathering information and preparing documentation
- Respond to client inquiries and provide timely, professional support
- Process endorsements, certificates, and policy changes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Follow up with clients and carriers to ensure smooth communication and service
- Assist with quoting, applications, and policy documentation as needed
- Ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented mindset
- Prior experience in insurance or a related administrative/account support role preferred
- Familiarity with insurance terminology, renewals, and policy servicing
- Experience working with insurance management systems
