Job Description

A reputable healthcare provider in Brooklyn is looking for Physical Therapists to join their team in the following locations: Marine Park, Park Slope, Gravesend, Midwood, or Mill Basin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy practices and a passion for helping patients improve their mobility and quality of life. You will work closely with patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform therapeutic exercises and provide manual therapy to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and enhance physical function.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities that promote overall health and well-being.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress.
  • Provide guidance on the use of therapeutic equipment and assistive devices to enhance patient independence.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT); Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent (Required)
  • Physical Therapy License (Required)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
