Kitchen Installation Technician
Job Description
A well-established, high-end kitchen design and manufacturing company is seeking a reliable and skilled Carpenter to join their team. This role involves working on custom kitchen installations, measuring spaces for cabinetry and fixtures, and supporting fabrication efforts in the shop when installation projects are not active.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure and assess kitchen layouts and job sites to ensure proper installation of custom cabinetry and components
- Perform detailed installations of kitchen cabinets, panels, hardware, and accessories according to design specifications
- Assist with woodworking, prep work, and general support in the shop when installation workload allows
- Communicate effectively with project managers, designers, and clients on-site to ensure quality results
- Safely load, unload, and transport materials and tools to job sites
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift, move, and transport materials, cabinets, and tools (schlepping required)
- Prior carpentry experience, preferably in custom cabinetry or kitchen installations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
- Basic knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and safety protocols
- Punctual, professional, and respectful when interacting with clients on-site
