Job Description
A property management company that specializes in managing a diverse portfolio of properties, including residential, commercial, retail, and student housing is looking for a Lease Administration Manager with experience property management software and a strong background in lease management, compliance, and financial oversight. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of lease administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance in leasing documentation, and supporting financial and tenant-related operations.
Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and manage lease agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Handle underwriting tasks, including evaluating tenant applications and verifying financial and legal documentation.
- Conduct thorough checks on leasing documentation to ensure completeness and adherence to guidelines.
- Monitor tenant rents, track payments, and provide light financial analysis related to lease agreements.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards, lease terms, and company protocols.
- Maintain and update leasing data in Yardi and other property management systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support leasing processes and resolve issues.
- Prepare regular reports on leasing activities, tenant payments, and compliance status.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in lease administration or property management.
- Proficiency in Yardi and other leasing or financial management software.
- Understanding of lease agreements, including terms, conditions, and compliance with NYC rent laws, DHCR regulations, and Section 8 requirements is a plus
- Familiarity with underwriting principles and processes.
- Knowledgeable in New York City rent control and rent stabilization laws.
- Familiarity with underwriting principles and processes.
