A well-established national financial services organization is seeking experienced professionals for a Sales Director (Accelerated Path to Management) role. This opportunity is designed for individuals with proven leadership, sales management, or entrepreneurial backgrounds who are looking to fast-track into senior management. The program is structured for candidates who bring real-world business, leadership, or advanced academic experience and are ready to build, lead, and scale high-performing teams.
Responsibilities:
Phase 1: Financial Professional (Foundational Leadership Track)
- Build and manage a personal book of business while developing client relationships
- Learn the firm’s products, sales processes, and client engagement model
- Meet defined performance, licensing, and production benchmarks
- Develop firsthand understanding of frontline sales and client-facing operations
- Utilize CRM, marketing, and prospecting tools to drive growth
Phase 2: Management & Leadership Development
- Transition into a structured management training program upon meeting requirements
- Recruit, train, and coach financial professionals
- Lead a sales unit with responsibility for performance, development, and retention
- Implement business development and growth strategies
- Mentor team members and build a strong leadership culture
- Drive revenue through team production and strategic oversight
Requirements:
- Prior management, leadership, or senior sales experience OR
- MBA or equivalent advanced business degree OR
- Former or current business owner / entrepreneur
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach and motivate others
- Proven track record of performance, accountability, and execution
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain required state insurance and securities licenses (training provided)
- Long-term career interest in leadership, management, and organizational growth
Compensation & Career Path:
- Initial phase: commission-based compensation
- Management phase: base salary + performance bonuses and incentives
