Job Description

A growing business communications and technology solutions provider is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Representative to help drive new business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company at a pivotal stage and become one of the first dedicated sales hires. The ideal candidate is hungry, self-motivated, and eager to build a book of business while developing into a future sales leadership role. For the right individual, there is significant opportunity for advancement into a Sales Manager position as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and other lead generation efforts
  • Identify and engage businesses that may benefit from modern communication and phone system solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities within the CRM
  • Utilize HubSpot to track leads, activities, follow-ups, and sales performance
  • Conduct discovery calls and presentations to understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with leadership on sales strategy, market opportunities, and growth initiatives
  • Assist in developing and refining sales processes as the company scales
  • Contribute to future team-building and leadership initiatives as the sales department expands
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1–2+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience
  • Experience with cold calling, lead generation, and outbound prospecting
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable managing a sales pipeline and working within a CRM environment
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM systems preferred
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of results
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Telecommunications, technology, SaaS, merchant cash advance (MCA), or B2B sales experience is a plus
