Job Description

A growing food manufacturing and wholesale company specializing in premium baked goods is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales & Business Development Representative to expand its customer base and strengthen existing client relationships. The company supplies high-quality bakery products to retailers, grocery stores, distributors, restaurants, and other food service businesses, with a focus on exceptional service and long-term partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, a hunter mentality, and the ability to manage the entire sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase repeat business and account growth.
  • Identify qualified leads and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Conduct sales presentations and introduce prospective customers to the company’s product offerings.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurately track activity within the CRM.
  • Follow up on quotes, orders, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and order fulfillment.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to expand into new accounts and territories.
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience preferred.
  • Experience selling to retail, wholesale, food service, hospitality, or distribution accounts is a plus.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to generate leads independently.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls, networking, and developing new business.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage leads and customer relationships.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to grow alongside the company.
