Job Description

A leading provider of environmental, waste management, and site services is seeking a motivated and outgoing Field Sales Representative to drive new business development throughout the New York market. This is a highly independent, client-facing role focused on generating new business through cold calling, in-person prospecting, relationship building, and networking. This opportunity is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys being out in the field, meeting new people, and turning prospects into long-term customers. Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and referrals
  • Identify and prospect commercial businesses within assigned territories throughout New York
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective customers
  • Present company services and educate clients on available solutions
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate service agreements
  • Manage and maintain an organized sales pipeline using the company’s CRM
  • Follow up consistently with leads and prospects
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and revenue goals
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity
  • Represent the company professionally at all times while in the field

Requirements:

  • Previous outside sales, business development, or field sales experience preferred
  • Comfortable making cold calls and prospecting new business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
  • Willingness to travel throughout New York on a daily basis
