A leading provider of environmental, waste management, and site services is seeking a motivated and outgoing Field Sales Representative to drive new business development throughout the New York market. This is a highly independent, client-facing role focused on generating new business through cold calling, in-person prospecting, relationship building, and networking. This opportunity is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys being out in the field, meeting new people, and turning prospects into long-term customers. Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and referrals
- Identify and prospect commercial businesses within assigned territories throughout New York
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective customers
- Present company services and educate clients on available solutions
- Prepare proposals and negotiate service agreements
- Manage and maintain an organized sales pipeline using the company’s CRM
- Follow up consistently with leads and prospects
- Meet and exceed monthly sales and revenue goals
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity
- Represent the company professionally at all times while in the field
Requirements:
- Previous outside sales, business development, or field sales experience preferred
- Comfortable making cold calls and prospecting new business
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
- Willingness to travel throughout New York on a daily basis
