Job Description

A rapidly growing telehealth healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology to join a high-volume clinical team providing telehealth care from its Brooklyn office. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated provider with 1–3 years of hands-on dermatology experience who is comfortable evaluating and treating a wide range of common dermatologic conditions. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, highly efficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of patient care. You will be responsible for conducting virtual dermatology consultations, assessing patient concerns, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications when appropriate, and providing ongoing follow-up.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-volume telehealth consultations with dermatology patients
  • Review patient medical histories, symptoms, medications, and relevant medical information
  • Perform virtual assessments of skin conditions and dermatologic concerns
  • Diagnose and manage common dermatologic conditions within appropriate scope of practice
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate treatments when clinically indicated
  • Educate patients regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, skincare, and preventive care
  • Monitor treatment response and make adjustments when appropriate
  • Identify patients who require in-person evaluation or referral to a dermatologist or other specialist
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and documentation
  • Provide appropriate follow-up and continuity of care
  • Communicate effectively with supervising physicians and other members of the clinical team
  • Follow established clinical, telehealth, and compliance protocols
  • Maintain a high level of patient care while meeting expected patient volume
  • Stay current with dermatology practices, treatments, and clinical guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • 1–3 years of professional experience specifically in Dermatology
  • Strong knowledge of common dermatologic conditions and treatments
  • Comfortable providing patient care through telehealth
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Comfortable using electronic medical records and telehealth technology
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong commitment to patient care and professionalism
